Cuneo Museum and Gardens
In 2009, the family foundation of John and Herta Cuneo, the Cuneo Foundation, donated the Cuneo mansion and gardens to Loyola. Located in Vernon Hills, the mansion was built in 1916 by Samuel Insull, founder of Commonwealth Edison. In 1937 John Cuneo, Sr., founder of the Cuneo Press, purchased the mansion. Today the mansion hosts events and continuing education courses.
