Why did you want to join the Loyola University Chicago Alumni Association Board of Directors and/or why have you continued for another term on the board?
I wanted to join the LUCAA Board of Directors because my education in the Post Baccalaureate program and medical school, as well as post graduate medical training/residency, was excellent. I feel much more connected to Loyola than my undergraduate university. I also appreciate the pragmatic/applied educational approach versus the theoretical or ivory tower education at some other universities. I felt very comfortable and prepared for the next step in my education or community medical practice after each phase of a Loyola education.

What is one of your favorite Loyola memories as a student and/or alum?
One of my favorite Loyola memories as a student was the camaraderie of medical school and seeing myself have the ability to succeed in a demanding environment. The ability to learn with hands-on experience, as well as the training to be a lifelong learner, has served me well.
