Weekend Events

Saturday, June 9

Celebrate Mass with fellow nursing, health systems management, exercise science and dietician alumni. Participate in the "Blessing of the Hands" tradition as a reminder of the important work your hands dedicate to performing in the health care profession. We are fortunate that Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt will join us for both Niehoff events, Mass and brunch, and we welcome Father James Prehn, SJ, EdD, who will preside over Mass.

Join Vicki Keough (MSN ’91, PhD ’98), dean of the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing, and the Alumni Board to recognize the accomplishments of outstanding alumni and celebrate the school.

Join alumni and friends from all classes to meet the new director of the Rome Center, Dr. Michael Andrews, and hear updates from Rome. Share memories from your time at the JFRC, and enjoy an array of tasty hors d’oeuvres and cocktails at the beautiful Klarchek Information Commons boasting breathtaking views of Lake Michigan.

Alumni, friends, and family are invited to spend an evening on the East Quad and enjoy beautiful scenery, lakeside lounging, live music, and al fresco dining under a summer sky. Grab something savory to eat at the local food trucks and tents, and enjoy beer, wine, or nonalcoholic beverages with your classmates. Don't miss your chance to visit with Loyola student-athletes and take your photo with the men's basketball NCAA South Region Championship Trophy!

Sunday, June 10

All are welcome to celebrate Mass in Loyola’s beautiful Madonna della Strada Chapel.

Members of the Class of 1968, along with their family and friends, are invited to this special brunch to honor and induct them into the Half-Century Club! Professor Theodore Karamanski, PhD, a Loyola history professor, will share a special presentation—a journey back in time to 1968.
