Academics
Women's Studies and Gender Studies classes seek to integrate knowledge about women, gender, and sexuality into traditional disciplines, theories, and professions. Full-time, research-active faculty teach the majority of courses in the program.
The Women's Studies and Gender Studies Program at Loyola began as an undergraduate minor. Our program has since grown to include an undergraduate major and minor, graduate concentration, graduate certificate, Master of Arts, as well as dual Masters degrees with Social Work and Theology.
