Loyola University Chicago

Orientation

About us

Orientation is the key to unlocking all that Loyola has to offer when you arrive on campus. As a staff, we're committed to helping start your Loyola Experience on the right foot. Throughout your first year, you'll focus on academics and building community. All of this begins with orientation: meeting new friends, registering for classes, learning about student activities, and getting a firsthand feel for college life. We're looking forward to meeting you.

New Student Program Fee

Loyola University Chicago Orientation is fully funded by the New Student Program Fee. The New Student Program fee supports most first-year experience programming and services at Loyola, including orientation, first-year seminars (UNIV 101/102/201), the Rambler Read program, New Student Convocation, First-Year Packs, and other programs and services that support new students and families. The New Student Program Fee is applied directly to students' tuition account and automatically included in the first bill. For more information about this and other University fees, please visit the Office of the Bursar website.
