How do I make a reservation for equipment?
-
Search through our Available Equipment
Scroll through the available offerings on the Equipment Loan Program page until you find a piece of equipment you would like to reserve/check-out. Once you find that item, click "Reserve Now" to be transferred to the Equipment Loan Program Reservation System.
-
Verify the Reservation and Equipment Availability, By Date
After being transferred to the Equipment Reservation System, you will need to click on the date that your reservation will begin using the calendar.
-
Select a Start Time
Using the graphical interface, a "+" icon will indicate that equipment is available for checkout during that time, while a "X" indicates that the equipment you have requested is not available for checkout and is reserved by another patron. To continue with your reservation, click the "+" to indicate the start time of your reservation.
-
Login to the Reservation System
Enter your Loyola Universal ID and password, then click "Click Here to Login" to continue on to the next step.
-
Review Terms and Conditions
Before continuing, please be sure to review the terms and conditions on the Reservation System page as well as those located on our homepage. You can view our policies and procedures page by clicking here.
-
Select the Length of Your Reservation
From the options provided, select the appropriate time length for your reservation. While the system will not stop you from making a longer reservation, you must select the appropriate category of equipment as indicated or below. For example, if you wanted to check out a Chroma Key Kit, you could make a reservation for three, two or one day(s); however, you would not be able to make a reservation for longer than three days.
-
Select Your Patron Status
From the dropdown, please select whether you are a Staff, Faculty or a Current Student.
-
Confirm Your Reservation
After reviewing your reservation for accuracy, click on "Save My Equipment Reservation" to continue. If no errors are returned, your reservation has been confirmed and a series of events will now occur.
-
Registration Confirmed and Active
Our system should now reflect an "X" during the length of your reservation, indicating that you have a current reservation.
-
Confirmation Email Delivered
Lastly, you should receive a confirmation email from our application. This email serves as a confirmation that you have completed the steps to reserving equipment. We look forward to seeing you in the Digital Media Lab.
