Valer Popa

Part-Time Instructor

Valer Popa was born in Bucharest, Romania and immigrated to the States through the Visa Lottery Program. He is a graduate of The University of Chicago and Cornell University's MFA program in Fiction. His writing has appeared in The New York Times, Chicago Magazine, The Believer, and elsewhere.
