After picking up your U-Pass, join Welcome Week Leaders on excursions around Chicago to find YOUR Chicago. Each trip will visit a different area of the city. 

**TICKETING: In order to attend, you must obtain a free ticket ahead of time

  • Pick up tickets at the Damen Student Center Info Desk on Thursday, 8/23 or Friday, 8/24
  • You must show your student ID to get a ticket
  • One ticket per LUC undergraduate student
  • Tickets will be dispersed on a first come, first served basis
  • Tickets will be date and location specific

**LIABILITY WAIVERS: All attendees must complete a Liability Waiver.  Liability Waivers can be completed on-site.  Participants must be 18+ years old.

Choral Rehearsal for Mass of the Holy Spirit
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

All students are invited to sing for the Mass of the Holy Spirit at 5 p.m. in Gentile Arena. There are no auditions, just come on out ready to sing and have a good time. All music will be supplied.

You’re officially a Rambler now! So, what does that mean? Come hang out with Year 1 Peer Advisors who can explain everything Loyola from school traditions, Jesuit values and education, to social justice on campus. Oh yeah, classes start tomorrow! What’s a syllabus? How do I open my mailbox? Where are my classes? How do I address my teachers? Come find the answers to all of these questions and any other question you have about being a student at Loyola.

Mass of the Holy Spirit

Regardless of your faith tradition, this Mass provides an opportunity for all members of the Loyola community to pray for God’s blessing on us. The entire Loyola community is invited to attend this Mass, which will invoke the blessings of the Holy Spirit for the academic year.

Mass of the Holy Spirit Picnic
6:15 p.m.
West Quad (rain location: Damen Student Center)

A picnic will be held immediately after Mass. Loyola dining halls will be closed during this event.
