Congratulations to Academic Coach Mervin Dino, who recently won Loyola‘s Cura Apostolica Award!

Awarded by Loyola’s Center for Experiential Learning, the Cura Apostolica Award recognizes an individual who devotes him or herself to taking care of and preserving the institution. The recipient of this award is a student who demonstrates considerable care in his or her work and its development. Mervin Dino embodies just this. An Academic Coach for multiple years, Mervin is known for his positive attitude and his commitment to supporting Target New Transitions. Mervin tirelessly devotes time and energy to support TNT on an individual and a programmatic level.

As Curie High School’s Site Coordinator describes Mervin, “I have never met someone so dedicated to bettering their work for the purpose of bettering the community they are working in,” listing the extra tasks he takes on for TNT, including recruitment, translating materials into Spanish, and leading our Coach Leadership team.

We congratulate Mervin and thank him for all of his amazing TNT work!
