Yarina Liston, PhD

Advanced Lecturer

Dr. Liston had worked at SUNY Purchase, Oakton Community College, Northwestern University, and DePaul University before coming to Loyola is 2008. She has been a full time lecturer in the Theology Department since 2012.

Research Interests

Dr. Liston primarily researches ancient Buddhism in India and translates Jataka material from Sanskrit. She also does writes and teaches on women in the ancient world.
