The Chamber Choir, under the direction of Kirsten Hedegaard, and Loyola Dance Theatre, under the direction of Sandra Kaufmann, will present two stirring works on the subject of spirit and justice. The first piece, Shehia rak-poignantly expresses Native American struggles through text, music and a dance choreographed by Loyola alumna, Phoebe Coakley. The second piece, Turn the World Around, originally written by Harry Belefonte, celebrates a world where the spirit of man turns towards justice and care for the earth.
