ABC7 Chicago features Loyola's Urban Agriculture Program

Students in the School of Environmental Sustainability's Urban Agriculture Program are growing food on campus using environmentally friendly methods. They sell healthy, fresh vegetables at local farmers markets and donate half of what they grow to neighborhood food pantries. A TV news crew from ABC7 visited the team in our greenhouse, and student team leader Alejandra Rodriguez went to the studio for a live interview on March 5, 2025.
