Preston Reilly

Since January 2024, Dr. Preston Reilly has served as the Director of the Center for Student Engagement (CSE). The Center offers opportunities for students to connect, learn, and engage beyond the classroom. Through these shared experiences, students gain a greater sense of self and community to foster positive social change. Dr. Reilly’s team in CSE provides strategy and support for all student organizations, sorority and fraternity life, graduate, professional and adult student life, programming, and many university-wide special events. 

Prior to his role at Loyola, Dr. Reilly’s career has led him to similar roles at the University of Chicago, Old Dominion University (Norfolk, VA), and Mercyhurst University (Erie, PA). He received his Doctorate in Higher Education from Old Dominion University, Master of Science in Higher Education from Florida State University, and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bowling Green State University. Outside of his work at LUC, Dr. Reilly is an active member in the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, where he has held numerous leadership positions.
