Burn and Shock Trauma Research Institute
The Burn and Shock Trauma Research Institute is a unique community of scientists and clinicians devoted to understanding traumatic injury. With a multi-disciplinary approach, programs include clinical and laboratory research related to trauma injury and burns. Our goal: develop innovative therapies to help individuals, suffering from a variety of traumatic injuries, begin to heal and regain function and their sense of self.

Loyola's Cardiovascular Research Institute (CVRI) pursues a range of cardiovascular research with diverse academic departments. The CVRI supports its faculty and students, maintains shared resources, and enhances collaboration among members.
