Wilderness Medicine Interest Group

The Wilderness Medicine Interest Group (WMIG) is a group of students who love medicine, both inside and especially outside of a traditional clinical setting. This interest group is dedicated to exposing medical students to the creative and practical application of medical knowledge and skills. This is a growing field and includes improvised patient care, working with limited resources, injury and risk prevention, and interprofessional collaboration.
