Global Surgery Student Alliance
The mission of the Global Surgery Student Alliance (GSSA) is "to educate, inspire, and unite students through engagement and mentorship in global surgery, including anesthesia & OB/Gyn," with a vision for creating sustainable and accessible surgical, obstetric, and anesthesia care worldwide.
The SSOM chapter of GSSA will:
1) educate students about careers in global surgery and health capacity building;
2) increase international connections for research and networking;
3) provide a community for students who are passionate about intertwining their interests in global public health and surgery.
