The Longitudinal Outcomes Committee (LOC) uses a data-driven process to assess outcomes that help Stritch improve the overall curriculum as it prepares physicians-in-training for residency.

DATA

Stritch Graduate Survey

  • Review, revise, and/or develop focused surveys to be completed by graduates
  • Perform initial analysis of data from the surveys for presentation to and analysis by the CCA
  • Frequency – Biennial

 Directors of Residency Programs in which are Stritch alumni train

  • Review, revise, and/or develop focused surveys to be completed by graduates
  • Perform initial analysis of data from the surveys for presentation to and analysis by the CCA
  • Frequency – Biennial

ACGME First Year Resident Milestone Report

AAMC Year Two Questionnaire (Y2Q)

  • Review results relating to the curriculum, with particular attention to trends
  • Report analysis to CCA
  • Frequency – Annual

 AAMC GQ

  • Review results relating to the curriculum, with particular attention to trends
  • Report analysis to CCA
  • Frequency - Annual

 NRMP Match Results, Specialty Choices of Graduates

  • Provide summary report to CCA
  • Frequency - Annual

 Course/Clerkship Pass/Fail Statistics

  • Provide summary report to CCA
  • Frequency – Biannual

Stritch OSCEs Performance Summary

  • Provide summary report to CCA
  • Frequency – Biannual

Physician-in-Training Review Panel Course/Clerkship/Phase Review

  • Provide summary report to CCA
  • Frequency – Biannual 

Annual Student Survey (Precursor to ISA)

MEMBERSHIP

Subcommittees Chair:  will serve on CCA and regularly attend meetings

Subcommittee Members:

  • Clinical Faculty
  • Basic Science Faculty
  • Stritch graduate who serves as Stritch 
  • M3 Physician-in-Training 
  • M4 Physician-in-Training 
  • Faculty or staff member to provide support for statistical data analysis

The CCA will establish guidelines regarding the timelines for LOC reporting of analyzed data.
