What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
I love the sense of community that I feel at Loyola. I feel like I have made really meaningful connections with not only the people in my office but also other offices around the campus, as well.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
My most memorable achievement is seeing students that I’ve personally helped with the financial aid process succeed and graduate, and then ultimately get great jobs!

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
Loyola’s mission means striving to do my best every day and being a positive leader at the university. Whether it is leading other staff or students, I feel that it is my role as a member of this community to keep social justice and change at the forefront of my work.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
The simple answer is students. I know that what I do each day has a direct impact on the experience that students have at Loyola. I want to be sure that I do my job to the best of my ability so that students have the best possible experience not only with the Financial Aid Office but also with the university as a whole.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
In a professional sense, I’ve presented at a national conference for the Oracle Higher Education User Group (HEUG).

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I’ve run the Chicago Marathon three times!
