What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
I enjoy working with a creative and positive staff where there is always a sense of community with our students, faculty, and staff. As a revenue generating department, I love the challenges that our department has and the creative ideas that we come up with to drive new avenues of revenues for the University. I feel blessed to have such a great staff that treats each other like family and shares in each other's successes.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
As most know, the AJCU Presidents leadership conference each June was hosted at each Jesuit university across the countrythat is until they came to Loyola in 2005! The conference and foodservice team had made such a positive impact on the group and the decision makers during that weekly conference that it was decided that Loyola would be the permanent home for this conference.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
As an employee at Loyola, I think Loyola's mission permeates in all of our work and daily efforts. We are a huge part of the University and are charged with living this mission in our daily lives and values as well as encouraging our students do the same in their lives. Cultivating the passion as a person for others is an equally important process that we aim for each day as well.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
I am motivated by the success of our department and the positive impact we have on the University with the conferences and events we bring to campus. Working in a team environment to achieve our goals and to mentor our student staff to be successful in the work force is very rewarding to all of us within the department.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
When working with our prospective clients, I'm always sharing the success of the University, what it has to offer, and its commitment to excellence. I always tell them that Loyola is the best kept secret in Chicago and the only thing we overlook is the lake.

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
Like most people I enjoy outdoor activities, White Sox baseball, and the Pittsburg Steelers football.
