Nominate yourself or a colleague for Staff Council!
Nominations to be a representative on University Staff Council (USC) are now being accepted for the 2025-2026 Council! Please consider nominating yourself or another dedicated Loyola Staff member by completing a nomination form by Friday, April 4, 2025. USC represents staff across the entire university, so we encourage nominations from the Lake Shore, Water Tower, and Health Sciences campuses. Learn more on our nominations page!
LEEF + Loyola Gives
This year, Loyola Gives offers the university community a heartfelt opportunity to support our fellow colleagues in times of crisis by donating to the Loyola Employee Emergency Fund (LEEF). LEEF provides emergency financial support to colleagues affected by natural disasters, accidents, catastrophes, deaths, or illnesses beyond their control and relies entirely on generous donations from the university community. Your donations can make a profound difference in extending a helping hand to those among us who are facing unexpected hardships. To learn more, please visit the LEEF home page. Congratulations to our 2024 Staff Award Winnners!
On Wednesday, May 29th, Staff Council and Human Resources held the ceremony for the Annual Staff Recognition and Excellence Awards. Our award winners this year were: Rising Star Award: Tiffaney Young, Sr. Program Coordinator, School of Social Work Student Service Award: Lance Boehm, Program Coordinator, Campus Recreation Team Spirit Award: Campus Recreation Kay Egan Award: Jae Joseph, Assistant Dean of Students for Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conflict Resolution Staff Member of the Year Award: Nick Jones, ITS, Business Analyst Congratulations to all the winners and nominees this year!
Holiday Spirit Contest Winner
We are excited to announce that the winner of the Holiday Spirit Contest is the LSC Wellness Center! Thank you to everyone who decorated their spaces to spread some fun holiday cheer, and to all those who voted for their favorite designs. We hope you all have a wonderful beginning of the year, and can't wait to decorate again next winter season!
