 This course will highlight the revisions to the new NASW Code of Ethics. This course will raise some new questions and concerns about the practice of social work in Illinois. Discussion on ways of thinking through the implications of the changes and strategies will be included in this course for social workers to positively adjust to the change.

 

Upon Completion of the Workshop, participants will:


1. Become familiar with the revised NASW Code of Ethics 
2. Understand the implications the revisions have on social work practice in Illinois 
3. Identify best practice strategies for addressing the changes to the code 
4. Identify ethical decision making issues that arise from the revisions to the code.
