Scholarships
School of Social Work Performance-Based Scholarships Focused on Student Need: Awarded to incoming MSW students who demonstrate financial need, community engagement, a commitment to academic success at Loyola, and potential in the social work profession. Students can apply for this scholarship directly through their admitted student portal. The strength of all application materials (i.e. personal statement, resume, and FAFSA application) is considered when awarding this internal scholarships.
Once admitted into the program, you can apply for the School of Social Work's performance-based scholarships which are focused on student financial needs. Scholarship award notifications begin 4 weeks after our priority scholarship deadline and until funds are exhausted.

Lester Czernik Scholarship: Awarded to 1-2 incoming MSW students who demonstrate financial need and promise to the social work profession. Preference is given to applicants who are graduates of a Chicago Public High School, first-generation college students, or speak English as a second language.
