SOC plans Celebration of Students

Students in Loyola’s School of Communication will be recognized for their outstanding achievements at the upcoming Celebration of Students ceremony.

Formerly known as the Weekend of Excellence, the Celebration of Students will be held online through Zoom at 1 p.m. Friday, April 23. 

This event is meant to honor student achievements this past year. There will be an announcement of Outstanding Student Awards in Multimedia Journalism, Advertising & Public Relations, Communication Studies, Film & Digital Media, and Digital Media & Storytelling, and Global Strategic Communication.

Dean Hong Cheng also will announce the Dean's Award for Exceptional Service and the SOC Teaching Award.

New inductees to the Lambda Pi Eta Honors Society will also be introduced.

All SOC students and their family members are welcome to attend. A Zoom link will be sent to everyone who has RSVP'd by April 22. Please be sure to register before then so you can receive the Zoom link! Please use your LUC.edu email address to register here.
