Communication Studies

The communication studies major allows students with a variety of interests to explore the theories behind communication, and ways to improve communication in both personal and professional settings. The major allows students to dabble in every major within the SOC. With course topics ranging from video documentaries to intercultural communication to environmental advocacy and designing media for social change, students will explore a variety of fields that fall under the umbrella of communication studies.
