Recruitment and Intake in the fall is open to those students who have earned 12 or more credit hours at Loyola or another accredited college or university, have a minimum of a 2.5 grade point average, enrolled as full-time student at Loyola, and be in good disciplinary standing with the University. The SAGA office will host various informational sessions for those students interested in learning more about joining Sorority and Fraternity Life. Fall recruitment is an informal process that not all chapters take part in. For questions about going Greek in the fall email Greeklife@luc.edu.

Sorority & Fraternity Life Info Session will be on August 26, 2017 at 4:00pm in Crown Center Auditorium

Transfer Sorority & Fraternity LIfe Info Session will be on August 28, 2017 at 4:30pm in Damen MPR North

Volunteering with Sorority & Fraternity Life will be on August 31, 2017 at 2:00pm in the West Quad


Interfraternity Council
IFC Info Session will be on August 31, 2017 at 7:00pm in The Den, Damen Student Center.

Kick off the Fall IFC Fraternity Recruitment by attending and learning the process and how to find your best fit!


Multicultural Greek Council
Meet the Greeks, Sponsored by the Multicultural Greek Council will be August 30, 2017 at 7:00pm in West Quad North (Rain Location: Damen Den).

Meet the MGC fraternities and sororities and learn about how to join. 


Panhellenic Council
Panhellenic yoga class will be on August 28, 2017 at 6:00pm in Information Commons 4th Floor.  Enjoy yoga with the women of Panhellenic.

Formal Recruitment will take place January 21, 25-28, 2018. Formal Recruitment Registration for Spring 2018 will begin in late November.


Each council (IFC, MGC, and Panhellenic) have specific information regarding their process that students should research and be prepared for. Each council site will have information regarding the process.
