Coordinator for Sorority and Fraternity Life at Loyola University Chicago, Emily Koneval

Emily is delighted to join the SAGA team at Loyola University Chicago. She received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management at Iowa State University and her Masters of Arts in College Student Personnel at Bowling Green State University. Emily most recently served as a Fraternity & Sorority Life Advisor at Bowling Green State University. In this role, she served as the Panhellenic Council and Multicultural Greek Council advisor as well as working closely with educational and leadership programs. Emily is passionate about promoting holistic student learning, leadership development, and empowerment through the co-curricular experiences. Originally from Illinois, she is excited to return to the Chicagoland area to explore all that the city has to offer in food, music, sports, and community engagement.

Troy Stephens, Jr.  Coordinator for Sorority & Fraternity Life Programming

Coordinator for Sorority and Fraternity Life at Loyola University Chicago, Troy Stephens Jr.

Troy, Nittany Lion & Jayhawk, is eager to join the SAGA team at Loyola University Chicago. Troy received his Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation and Human Services from The Pennsylvania State University and his Masters of Science in Education from The University of Kansas. He most recently served as a Greek Life Advisor in the Office of Greek Life at Auburn University. In this role, he served as the National PanHellenic Council, Multicultural Greek Council and Order of Omega Advisor. As a West Philadelphia native, Troy has always longed for the opportunity to get back and give back to the inner city. He is excited to explore the university and all that Chicago has to offer, if you are interested in catching a Bulls game let him know!

Garrison Thomas  

Graduate Assistant for Sorority & Fraternity Life

Garrison is excited to serve as the SFL Graduate Assistant here at Loyola University Chicago. Garrison comes to Chicago from Florida where he just recently received his bachelor’s degree from Florida Gulf Coast University. He will be pursuing his Masters of Education in Higher Education starting this fall. He is an initiated member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and strongly believes in giving back to the youth in the community and empowering others to be the best version of themselves. Coming from a small town in Florida, Garrison is excited to explore, learn and embrace all that Chicago and Loyola have to offer.
