As a private University Police Department, Loyola University Chicago Campus Safety is granted the same powers as municipal police officers in the county where the University is located (110 ILCS 1020/1).  

Campus Safety regularly patrols the areas bordered by the following streets;

LSC Boundaries:

• North - Pratt
• West - Glenwood
• South - Glenlake
• East - Lake Michigan

 WTC Boundaries:

• North - Chestnut St
• West - Dearborn St
• South - Chicago Ave
• East -  Michigan Ave
