Service in Action
Your home says a lot about you, but your neighborhood even more.
Thirty JFRC students joined a local community development organization once again on Saturday Feb. 6 to help with the clean-up of the stairs and walkways in the Balduina neighborhood that surrounds the JFRC campus on Monte Mario. Working alongside these young local Italians proved to be a wonderful way to serve while also integrate themselves as good neighbors and meet local residents. The collaboration with Comitato Balduina has grown over the past semesters. The members of the organization have come on several occasions to speak to the students about combating civic apathy. The next Balduina Clean-up service day will be Saturday March 19.
