Summer Housing
We are excited to offer Summer Housing for 2025 in Marquette Hall on the Lake Shore Campus. Should interest in Summer Housing exceed the number of available space in Marquette Hall, we will look to assign students to a like building on the Lake Shore Campus. Housing on the Lake Shore Campus is offered by session.
Students moving into the residence halls for Summer Session A should plan on moving in on Sunday, May 18. Students moving into the residence halls for Summer Session B should plan on moving in on Sunday, June 29. Students living on campus for both Session A and Session B will remain in the same room for both sessions. Students living on campus for the full summer or Summer Session B will transition to their fall assignments on Saturday, August 9.
Spring-to-Summer Transition Housing
Students living on-campus for both the current spring semester and Summer Session A may be permitted to remain on-campus between the terms. Students will move from their spring housing assignment to their summer housing assignment on Monday, May 12.
Students who are not able to transition to their summer assignment on the 12th will not be eligible to remain in their spring assignment beyond Monday, May 5. In that case, students will need to completely check-out of their spring assignment no later than than noon on Monday, May 5 and return to campus to move into their summer assignment on Sunday, May 18.
Applying for Summer Session Housing
Students can complete the application for Summer Housing starting on Friday, March 21. The application is available on the Residence Life Portal Page in LOCUS. The priority deadline for summer housing is Monday, April 7.
Summer Meal Plans
Meal plans are NOT required for students living on campus for the summer. However, dining dollar meal plan options will be available should a student wish to maintain a plan over the summer.
