Adjoa Darkwa
Hello, my name is Adjoa Darkwa and I’m from Plainfeld, IL. My current major is Neuroscience on a pre-med track. One of my favorite hobbies is dancing. I love to freestyle and also create choreographs. My favorite spot at Loyola would be near the lake.

Sam Flores
Hey Ramblers! I am Sam Flores, a desert rat from the great state of Arizona. I am a Sports Management Major and Spanish Minor at LUC. My hobbies include sports, music, hanging with my friends, and playing video games. My favorite spot at Loyola is definitely in the front row at Gentile Arena. A fun fact about me is that I am a legacy of Loyola, following in the footsteps of two of my older sisters!

Emily Hammermeister
Hi! I hail from Munster, Indiana, which is not too far from Chicago. I’m a senior Environmental Science major and Studio Art minor. In my free time I love taking pictures, playing my guitar, and you can always catch me riding my bike around the city. You can find me sitting near the lake on campus, my favorite spot to just chill and take in the view!

Bianca Gonzalez
My name is Bianca and I am a current Senior at Loyola University, studying Supply Chain Management on a Pre-Medicine Track with a Minor in Psychology! So a bit everywhere haha. My hometown is St. Charles, IL and I currently reside in the beautiful city of Chicago. With this being said, a lot of my hobbies consists of adventuring the city, trying new restaurants, coffee shops, etc. But most importantly, going to Cubs Games in good ole Wrigley Field. Some fun facts about myself is that I’ve been Captain of my Co-Ed Intramural Volleyball Team for several semesters now, and my team got the awesome opportunity to play in the Finals in Gentile Arena! Can’t wait to meet you all and be a part of this amazing program! If you have any questions or just want to grab coffee and learn more about Loyola and the city life-I’m all for it!

Neomy Gutierrez
My name is Neomy O. Gutierrez! I am from Chicago, Irving Park neighborhood. I am a rising junior with the major of Mathematics, not your common major! I enjoy playing new games or puzzles. I also love watching and talking about scary movies! The best spot at Loyola is Ireland at Damen - very relaxing and entertaining. I'm really looking forward to meeting and learning from you all!

Sandy Lu
Hi, I'm Sandy and I'm a senior at Loyola studying Psychology and Criminal Justice & Criminology. I was born and raised in Chicago, IL. My hobbies include baking, taking pictures, and reading. I studied abroad in Vietnam in the Fall of 2017 and was able to travel throughout the country, and even visit Cambodia and Thailand. A fun fact about me is that I can say the alphabet backwards!

Harriet Martin
My name is Harriet Martin and I am from Juneau, Alaska. Currently, I am a junior majoring in sociology on a premed track. I am extremely passionate about social justice. My favorite spot on Loyola’s campus is on the East Quad on a sunny day. Fun fact: ever since I’ve had braces, I don’t know how to whistle anymore.

Aaron Olivo
Hi, my name is Aaron Olivo, and I am originally from Dallas, TX. I am half Puerto-Rican and half Japanese. I love skateboarding, art and music. I am majoring in Creative Advertising and hope to become a creative director someday and use my influence to educate people on mental health.

Yatee Patel
My name is Yatee and I am a sophomore, majoring in Biology. I did classical dance for 10 years and graduated in the summer of 2015. I love meeting new people and learning different things about them. For me, it is important to have fun in college but staying focused and dedicated is also crucial. Let's discover new goals and make our college experience a memorable one!

Sloan Smith
Hi! My name is Sloan Smith. I am a senior majoring in political science and minoring in criminal justice. I am currently a member of Chi Omega sorority, started an Oxfam club on campus, and have been a part of several other amazing clubs on campus. My favorite part of being a student at Loyola is the lake; who else can go to class then the beach right after?! If I am not hanging out with friends exploring the city, I am at home re-watching the Office for the 45th time.
