Sean Taylor

Adjunct Faculty


Sean Taylor is a Vice President in the Antitrust & Competition Practice at Charles River Associates, an international economic consulting firm that specializes in the application of economics and finance to law and regulatory matters. He holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a master's degree in economics from the London School of Economics, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University.

Sean has a passion for applying economic tools to understand and overcome real-world challenges. Broadly speaking, his consulting work has focused on applied microeconomic theory and applied econometrics. He has evaluated antitrust claims relating to exclusionary conduct and price fixing, analyzed the competitive impact of proposed mergers and joint ventures, analyzed claims of discrimination in employment practices, addressed class certification issues, and calculated damages for product liability and patent infringement matters. His experience covers a wide range of industries, including health insurance, pharmaceuticals, airlines, information technology, manufacturing, and professional sports.

Sean is also committed to pro bono efforts. He has conducted analyses on behalf of nonprofit organizations in legal proceedings and has advised nonprofits on program evaluation methods and data analytics.
