Karyn Dossinger

Assistant Professor of Management; Graduate Program Director of MS Human Resources


Karyn’s teaching expertise spans organizational behavior and human resources. She has taught courses in leadership, organizational behavior, positive organizational scholarship, staffing, and human resource development. Her research focuses on how individuals navigate career transitions, including choosing a career, starting a new job, and retirement decisions. She also explores the role of curiosity in employee learning, development, and creativity.

Before her academic career, Karyn worked in human resources and marketing strategy consulting for over a decade.
