Stephen Ban is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in investment management, marketing, and governance.

He has held leadership roles at Nuveen, T. Rowe Price, Aon, and Heller Financial, specializing in business strategy, distribution, investor relations, and capital markets across asset classes. Passionate about ESG, sustainability, and social and economic justice, Ban serves as an independent trustee for the U.S. Bank Closed-End Fund Accelerator Platform and as a senior advisor to the Corporate Coalition of Chicago, working to drive economic development in underinvested communities.

As the founder of GreenCat Advisors, he provides strategic guidance to mission-driven businesses, startups, and nonprofit organizations. He is also an adjunct instructor at Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business and an active investor with Hyde Park Angels. An experienced board member and consultant, Ban is recognized for his leadership, strategic insight, and exceptional communication skills, including writing, public speaking, and intellectual capital development.
