It's hard to put into words how excited I was to see San Fran, meet loyola alumni, and attend a multitude of site visits. Spending time with such ambitious, outgoing, and charismatic Quinlan students really exemplified this wonderful experience, resulting in life-long relationships. Meeting with successful loyola alumni in the Bay Area really outlined how essential the values taught at Loyola are in your professional development. To witness such high levels of motivation, outline how opportunistic alumni in the Bay Area are, and how they have utilized the advancement of technology and education to further themselves morally, and financially.
One really stunning experience was attending the Salesforce work environment. It was intriguing to see how casual and welcoming their corporate culture was. Although their culture was very relaxed and laid back, this seemed to incentivize employees to work harder, and feel like they were in the comfort of their own home. Along with this, the Salesforce site oversaw the entire San Francisco city, and had jaw dropping internal features that really could only be found at this specific location.
