It’s the day before the Ramble to New York trip and those preflight jitters are just the first of the emotions we’ll be experiencing on this trip. Nervous and excited are just a few feelings I have before embarking on an opportunity that will not only be rewarding to embrace the culture and atmosphere that is New York City but also advance my professional development with other Loyola students.
If you’re looking to push yourself outside your comfort zone in aims for both personal and professional development, what better place to do it than at the Quinlan Ramble? Each day is jam-packed with networking opportunities, company tours, and overall learning opportunities. I plan to take advantage of this opportunity as a chance to learn what it is that I’d love to learn more about and may pursue as a career but also learn what I may not be as interested in. But all the while we will be learning and growing with each other.
I look forward to sparking new conversations and maintaining lasting relationships with all the people I get to experience this trip with. Fingers crossed for another successful Quinlan Ramble trip.
