Mary Kay Mudd-Bushonville is an integral leader of Mudd Advertising, a Chicago-based Advertising and Marketing firm. Mudd Advertising was founded in 1981 by her father, Jim Mudd, Sr., and today the company has three locations with more than 170 employees nationwide. Five of Mr. Mudd’s six children now oversee Mudd Advertising’s daily operations and growth.

Over the last five years Mary Kay has led her family’s agency by spearheading their expansion through her dual role as Director of New Business and Director of Internal Marketing. These new business initiatives for the company allowed her to launch and manage a new successful division to the family business – Mudd Academics. Mudd Academics focuses on direct marketing and interactive services to higher education institutions that support their academic, alumni, athletic and advancement departments. 

She is a member of Family Business Network International’s Next Generation Committee and a member of the Executive Board of Family Business Network International. Previous to her employment at Mudd, Mary Kay worked for Abbott Laboratories in various marketing roles for over eight years. Mary Kay is a graduate of St. Louis University with a degree in Public Policy studies.
