Virtual Business Cards
Business Career Services launched a new Virtual Business Card Program in February 2016.
Business Career Services was the first career center in the nation to pioneer such an initiative. The virtual business card is an excellent way for students to elevate their brand and distinguish themselves from others.
We hope it will help students market themselves towards internships and career opportunities in the future. As career development is a dynamic and changing landscape, their virtual identity is going to be more and more important in the future. This is a step in the right direction for our students.
Now Accepting Applications!
Red Ivy Studios will be back for this Fall's Career & Networking Fair to film more Virtual Business Cards! To apply, please send the VBC_application, Consent_Form, and a copy of your resume to QuinlanCareers@luc.edu.
Virtual Business Card Book
During a “Practice Your Pitch with Alumni” event, selected students were awarded free Virtual Business Cards based on their proactive spirit, high engagement, and participation with Career Services. The group of more than 20 students began to prepare for the big screen weeks in advance with our assistance and polished their elevator pitches. We are very proud of these students who valued such an opportunity to take ownership of their digital identity development.
