A Conversation with Jessica Yagan
Date: Monday, Apr. 16
Location: Schreiber Center, 16 E. Pearson St., Room 220
The Baumhart Center is hosting a conversation with impact investor and social innovator Jessica Droste Yagan. Yagan is currently the Managing Partner of Impact Engine, a venture fund that invests financial and human capital in early-stage, for-profit technology startups that are improving education, health, economic empowerment, and resource efficiency. Prior to Impact Engine, Jessica led the creation of McDonald’s Corporation’s sustainable sourcing strategy. In that role, she enabled the integration of ethical, environmental, and economic sustainability across all food and packaging sourcing. Prior to her work with McDonald’s, she worked for the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City on urban economic development.
The conversation with Yagan will take place on Monday, April 16th, from 5 to 5:50 p.m. in room 220 of the Quinlan School’s Schreiber Center (16 E. Pearson). The conversation will be intimate and interactive and allow you to ask questions and to share your insights. If you can make it, we encourage you to RSVP. While you do not need to RSVP to attend, we plan to serve light food and it would be helpful for us to have an approximate count of attendees.
