Remembering Professor Emeritus George Kaufman
In June 2021, colleagues, friends, and family gathered for a virtual celebration of the life and legacy of Professor Emeritus George Kaufman. He passed away on June 25, 2020, at his home in Chicago.
He was a renowned economist, researcher for and consultant to the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, economist who served Presidents Gerald R. Ford and Jimmy Carter, and the John F. Smith Professor of Economics and Finance at Loyola University Chicago.
