Taking Time to Listen
Dr. Rooney welcomed the University community back to campus, shared information about the upcoming MLK Celebration and the Mission Priority Examen, and reflected on what a blessing it is to be a part of Loyola.

Update on the Provost Search
Dr. Rooney updated the campus community on the open search the University has been conducting for the next provost and chief academic officer. Though several of the finalists demonstrated strengths in some areas, no clear consensus on a leading candidate emerged from the process. Margaret Callahan, CRNA, PhD, FNAP, FAAN, will remain interim provost during our continued search. The University is committed to finding a provost and chief academic officer who will join the Loyola community as we seek to strengthen and deepen our efforts to live out our shared Jesuit, Catholic mission.
