Title/s: Career Peer
Office #: Sullivan 255
Tell us about yourself:
I am a junior from the suburbs of Chicago, currently studying Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience with a minor in Studio Art. With my free time, I like to watch The Office, watercolor, and drive through Chicago.
Why did you apply to be a Career Peer?
I have been a part of several mentoring positions over the years, and I’ve come to enjoy that aspect of my experiences. Being a Career Peer really focuses on helping those that come to the CDC, and I am excited about helping students prepare for what they are passionate for.
What do you like most about working with students?
Having been in their position before, I think being a peer to the students is very helpful. I am able to pass on what I have learned through my experiences, as well as be exposed to the different fields and directions my fellow Loyola students are interested in.
As long as you are passionate and hard-working about something, there is always a means to achieve it.
