2022-23 President's Medallion Winner

 

Kiet Anh Nguyen honored his scholarly interests at Loyola University Chicago, specializing in particle physics and cosmology. In addition to excelling in the classroom, he contributed to practical research projects in the areas of advanced laboratory design and dark matter. He is grateful for the scholarship awards that made his Loyola journey possible and in return dedicated time to tutoring other Loyola students and volunteering in the community. 

“I am grateful for everything Loyola Chicago has done for me, so I try to give back by volunteering in the community and on campus.” 

Kiet participates in particle physics and cosmology research projects, as well as Loyola's physics club. Kiet plans to pursue an advanced degree after graduation, where he hopes to continue to make valuable contributions to theoretical physics.
