Dr. Gant Kanegusuku earned her B.A in Chemistry from Smith College, and her Ph.D in Organic Chemistry in 2020 after developing methods for the site-selective installation of new carbon-carbon and carbon-nitrogen bonds in complex molecules. She went on to complete her first postdoctoral fellowship as an IRTA Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health in the laboratory of Dr. Steven J. Soldin. Dr. Gant Kanegusuku then completed her formal training in Clinical Chemistry at The University of Chicago though a CoMACC-accredited Clinical Chemistry Fellowship under the guidance of Dr. KT Jerry Yeo. She is currently Associate Director of the Regional Core Laboratory at LUMC and Assistant Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
