Master's Programs

Public Health
Master of Public Health: Loyola's Public Health program has 2 tracks, each requiring 44-credits. The Health Policy & Law track can be completed entirely online. The Epidemiology track is a hybrid program of online & evening courses. Both programs require a practicum training experience and a capstone project.

Information Technology
Master of Science: The MS in Information Technology is designed for current and aspiring professionals in charge of developing, implementing, operating, and managing information systems in a variety of organizations. Students in this program will gain a broad technical understanding of current and emerging technologies in the industry, a familiarity with systems engineering concepts, and a solid foundation in net-centric computing. They will also have a firm grasp of current and future effects of the convergence of the telecommunications, media, and information technology sectors. All coursework can be completed online, and the program includes an intensive on-site immersion as a capstone.

Health Care Mission Leadership

Master of Arts: The MA in Health Care Mission Leadership offers professional preparation for those in senior leadership positions in a health care environment who are charged with developing, enhancing, cultivating, and protecting the identity and mission of their organizations. The program incorporates teachings from ministry, health care, and bioethics to offer a degree that is both well rounded and pertinent to the work being done in Catholic hospitals throughout the world. Organizational Evaluation

Master of Education (M.Ed.): Loyola's Master of Education in Organizational Evaluation prepares individuals for roles as evaluators and change agents. The 34 semester hour program is a strong choice for individuals starting their careers as well as those who may already have an advanced degree and are looking to augment their credentials and improve their marketability. The program is also ideal for professionals who are currently employed in social service organizations, private foundations, research firms, and human resources or training departments. Courses from Loyola's School of Education and the Quinlan School of Business will provide students with an interdisciplinary perspective. This program will have a blended format with a number of courses being offered online and others at our Cuneo Campus in Vernon Hills, IL. Learn more

LLM in Health Law: Loyola's Master of Laws in Health Law degree provides attorneys with the opportunity to gain a sophisticated knowledge of the laws and regulations that govern the health care industry. Students may choose to complete course-work online or on-campus, but all students must come to Loyola's Chicago campus at the end of the program for an Education Immersion Weekend. Learn more.

MJ in Health Law: The MJ in Health Law is designed exclusively for health care professionals who do not wish to practice law or sit for a bar exam but rather, wish to learn the specific laws and regulations that govern health care. The entirely online program is divided into learning modules that consist of: writing and reading assignments, essay exams, quizzes, live synchronous classes, audio and video lectures, and bulletin postings. Nursing and Healthcare Administration

MSN in Nursing and Healthcare Administration: The Master of Science in Nursing degree in Nursing and Healthcare Administration is offered as an online program with annual immersion sessions. The immersion weekend gathering of the Nursing and Healthcare Administration cohort is designed to begin the socialization into the leadership community by establishing contacts with fellow students and guest speakers.  The educational sessions will feature expert speakers who will discuss hot topics facing the nursing and healthcare administration leaders.

International Higher Education

Master of Education (MEd): Loyola's Master of Education in International Higher Education is a collaboration between Loyola's Higher Education and Cultural & Educational Policy Studies/Comparative International Education programs. This degree will provide students with deep knowledge of the changing landscape of higher education globally and will prepare them to work in multiple areas including higher education policy, administration, international student affairs, and study abroad. This 36 credit hour program includes a mandatory internship field experience and will conclude with a capstone portfolio. All courses are online with two exceptions: one course is taught at Loyola's Beijing Center and another is taught at Loyola's Rome Center. Learn more.
