Loyola University Chicago

Office for International Programs

Loyola University Chicago International House Programming Model strives towards building a community that fosters reflective and meaningful relationships within the residence halls. Given Loyola University Chicago’s commitment to social justice, while working and expanding knowledge in one's service of humanity through learning, justice, and faith, the I-House seeks to offer various programs that meet Loyola’s Jesuit Model. Furthermore, the I-House programming model is designed to support and meet the educational mission of Loyola University Chicago as we seek to educate the whole person and put student formation of learning at the heart of the work through cross-cultural learning programs.

Each month, the International House hosts events and outings for the residents of the building. In the past, we've had:

  • Pumpkin Carving

  • Cookies & Cards

  • Friendsgiving

  • Visits to different festivals (i.e. Apple Fest)

  • International Cooking Festival

  • Cultural parties

  • Board Game Night

  • Movie nights

  • ...and much more!

Please check out our Facebook page for information on our upcoming events and for photos from our past events.

If you are current International House resident or Student Club Leader (at Loyola University Chicago) and are interested in hosting an event in the I-House please email us at intlhouse@luc.edu.
