Rachel Murray - Coordinator, Outdoor Experiential Education

Rachel is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Loyola groups on the LUREC Challenge Course, training, supervising and supporting the student facilitation team, and supporting the growth of on-campus team building partnerships. Rachel has a wealth of professional experiences on a variety of Challenge Courses serving a variety of populations. Make sure to ask her about Space Camp! Rachel hails from Davenport, IA.  She received a B.M.E. in Music Education from Wartburg College. Rachel obtained her M.S. in Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration from Western Illinois University.  Rachel has held various positions in the areas of parks and recreation, corporate team building, wellness, indoor climbing and challenge course management.  Rachel is passionate about student development and designing challenge course programs that meet partner needs. Rachel is very excited to use her skills and experience to enhance the Loyola student experience by expanding the partnerships of Outdoor Experiential Education.
