About

Dr. Lee is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Loyola University Chicago Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing. She received her PhD in Nursing from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2023 and began her postdoctoral fellowship in September 2023.

Research Interests

Dr. Lee's program of research has been health behaviors in people with cardiovascular disease. In her dissertation, she specifically investigated psychosocial factors, sleep, and physical activity in individuals who had undergone cardiac surgery. Currently, Dr. Lee's research aims to improve sleep health in minority women, particularly African American women with cardiometabolic disease risk. She is leading a pilot study on the impact of a race-based stress reduction program on sleep and melatonin onset in Black women with cardiometabolic risk.
