Teaching Interests

Dr. ORourke works with faculty and students within the MSN, DNP and PhD programs developing and evaluating curriculum. She has taught Research for Health Professionals and Teaching Methods.

Research Interests

Principle Investigator, “Primary Care- Promoting Access to Healthcare (IPATH).” Funded by Human Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Advanced Nursing Education Workforce (ANEW) Grant. Funding period 7/1/17-6/3/19, $1,400,000.

Research interests include Clinical Simulation; Nurse Handoff; and Teaching and Evaluation Strategies.
