Ignatian Contemplation Retreat
Given the frenzied pace of modern life, it can become increasingly difficult to find the time for self-reflection and spiritual renewal; however, everyone needs and deserves time to connect more deeply with their faith, spiritual journey, and relationship with God.
The Ignatian Contemplation Retreat is built on two movements: The first movement begins on first day with two talks focusing on the Principle and Foundation of St. Ignatius' Spiritual Exercises, followed by time for private reflection, shared meals, and ending in communal reflection. The second movement will begin with dinner on the following evening when the retreat will enter into a full day of silence, giving time for individual prayer and reflection. Spiritual guidance will be available during this time for those who desire it. On the first evening, participants are encouraged to come to the retreat center where there will be a short session on preparing to "retreat" followed by an open evening to relax in preparation for the retreat.
