Rovi, Carmen
Assistant Professor
Dr. Rovi earned a Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh where she worked with Prof. Andrew Ranicki, chair of algebraic surgery. She also has an MFoCS from Oxford, an M.S. from UNED, Spain, and a B.Sc (Hons) from the Open University, UK. She completed postdocs at Max Plank, IU Bloomington, and Heidelberg. In addition to her mathematical background, she has a degree in piano performance, and was a music teacher and then the principal at a high school in Spain. Dr. Rovi joined Loyola as a faculty member in 2021.
